ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

Our school is located in Kaluwanchikudy, to the south of Batticaloa. It has a long history. It was founded by Mr. T. Sabapathipillai on 1st Of April 1919. Following him, the school went through many stages of development over time and was renamed as BT/Paddiruppu Government Tamil Mixed School on 1st Of june 1936. Thereafter , due to changes in government policy, the school was upgraded to various levels over time, including BT/Paddiruppu Government Boys' School, BT/Paddiruppu Government Junior English School, Kaluwanchikudy and Senior High School.

The main premise of starting the school is to ensure a more ethical and responsible future generation. Hence a lot of emphasis is laid on academics, value education, discipline and good leadership.
